Ashley teaches courses related to political media, political campaigns, civic engagement, and quantitative methods. Her courses teach students to think critically about the political and persuasive messages that they encounter in day-to-day life, and encourage students to generate ways to improve traditional news, digital news, and civic engagement in their communities. At the graduate level, Ashley teaches political communication, communication theory, and quantitative research methods.
